Is Curry Closing In On A Decision?

After visiting Missouri last Tuesday Fossil Ridge (TX) DT Aaron Curry has had some time to think about his recruitment and shares the very latest with ShowMeMizzou.com about where things are at.

Last Tuesday, the Missouri Tigers hosted an unofficial visitor from Texas. ShowMeMizzou.com has spoken with 2012 DT prospect Aaron Curry 6'3" 271 4.9 Keller (TX) Fossil Ridge, who talked about his visit, and has updated us on his recruitment.

"It was great," said Curry, talking about his visit to Missouri. "They showed me around the campus, and I met with all of the coaches. I met with some of the players. I talked to the strength and conditioning coach, and he showed me some of the things I would be doing. That was pretty cool. It was a nice place. I really liked it a lot."

Curry had made the trip with his parents, and they had decided before they arrived that they would go home after the visit, and talk about it before he makes a commitment. He said that his parents really like Missouri, as well.

"(My parents) loved it," said Curry. "They've been talking about it ever since. They say it's a good place. My dad liked it. They liked it a lot. We've just been discussing it."

Curry would like to take some official visits, to a few other schools, including Boise State, Purdue, Ole Miss, Boston, Indiana, and Iowa. He's also considering ending his recruitment, and committing to Missouri.

"Missouri looks good so far," explained Curry. "I might just call them up real soon, and go ahead and commit. But right now, we're just discussing it."

Curry said that his decision could come within the next week, or within the next few weeks.

"I told Coach Stec, that we're going to go home and we're going to discuss it," explained Curry. "And, I'm going to let him know pretty soon."

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to update Aaron Curry's recruitment.
