Tomme Mark Update catches up with Texas defensive line prospect Tomme Marks to get the very latest regarding his recruitment and the Missouri Tigers, who is one of the many schools who have offered him.

Earlier this summer, the Missouri Tigers were recruiting several defensive tackles for 2012, including a multi-sport athlete from east Texas, in Tomme Mark  6'2"  265  4.77  Lufkin (TX), among others.

Mark reports having received offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Michigan State, SMU, SFA, and Utah, among others, in addition to Missouri.  He recently told that Missouri is among his top eight, including Houston, Utah, Missouri, North Texas, SMU, and SFA.

Recently, Mark told that Missouri is still recruiting him, and communicating with him, but that he hasn't spoken directly with the Missouri staff in over two months. Of note is that it was during the latter half of July, that Missouri received verbal commitments from three defensive tackle prospects.

Mark's Lufkin team is off to a 2-0 start this season, and he's optimistic heading into a Friday night contest against neighboring Nacogdoches.

Mark said that Houston and Utah are the schools that are recruiting him the hardest right now. He's planning to take visits later this fall, but as of now, doesn't have a complete list of schools that he will visit. He said that Houston and Utah are each likely to receive an official visit.
