Chaston Cuffee Update

ShowMeMizzou.com is checking in on the Missouri Tigers early commitments to get updates on how their senior seasons before waering the Black & Gold are going so far. Chaston Cuffee gives us the lowdown.

Missouri's in their bye week, so ShowMeMizzou.com stepped away from the conference realignment discussion to speak with Missouri 2012 DB commit Chaston Cuffee 6'2" 195 4.48 Cleburne (TX) . He updated us on his senior season, and on his commitment to Missouri.

The Cleburne Yellowjackets are 2-2 on the season, and 1-0 in district play. Their next opponent is Burleson, whom they play in 4A Region I District 7 action this week.

Cuffee, who reports a 38" vertical jump, is playing both safety and corner this season, although not at the same time. He told

ShowMeMizzou.com that opponents refuse to throw to his side of the field.

"Every time I play, the (opponents) go to the other side (of the field)," complained Chaffee. "I hardly ever get any action."

Cuffee's focused on his final high school season, but he said that he's still looking forward to coming to Missouri. He's still solidly committed to the Tigers.

"I'm very excited about (coming to Missouri)," explained Cuffee. "But as of right now, I'm a Yellowjacket. I've got some unfinished business here."

Cuffee said that he's heard some of the conference realignment talk. He said that it doesn't matter to him whether Missouri plays in the Big 12 or the SEC.

"That doesn't bother me," said Cuffee. "(It doesn't affect me). No sir, not at all."

Cuffee plans to take an official visit to Missouri, along with some other Missouri commits, after the football season.
