With all of the conference realignment talk swirling about, and the Missouri Tigers in their bye week, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2012 Missouri CB commit Will Hines 6'1" 180 4.47 Waco (TX). He updated us on his senior season, and shared some of his thoughts about Mizzou.

Hines' Waco High team is off to a 3-2 start, and will open district play next, when they take on Midway. Hines is playing receiver, safety, and corner. He said that he's gotten "some action" to his side of the field this season, including an interception against Copperas Cove, but that most teams stay away from his side of the field. He's expecting a "deep" play-off run.

Hines, who reports a 38" vertical jump, said that he's seen Missouri play a couple of times this season. He said that he thinks James Franklin looks good.

"I think (Franklin) is doing pretty good," said Hines. "He's doing real good for a sophomore………………………………….. (But), he needs to start sliding more. He's taking some big hits."

Hines is still solidly committed to Missouri, and plans to officially visit Missouri after the season. He said that he'd like to make it to a Missouri game this seaon, but wasn't sure which one he'll get to attend. He's looking forward to being at Missouri next year.

"Yes sir. I'm real excited (about coming to Missouri)," said Hines.

"No. It wouldn't make a difference," replied Hines, when I asked him about a possible conference move for Missouri. "I think we (Missouri) would do good in the SEC, or in the Big 12."
