The Missouri Tigers continue to draw the attention of some quality defensive recruits for the 2012 recruiting class. The will be getting an official visit from one of the top defensive end prospects in Texas this coming Friday December 9th.

DeSoto (TX) DE Michael Richardson 6'2" 230 (4.6) has informed of his intention to visit the University of Missouri and consider the Missouri football program despite being committed to Texas A&M at the moment.

"I have been talking to Missouri for about two weeks now," said Richardson. "They wanted to know what I was thinking about with my recruitment, and while I am a hard commit to Texas A&M at the moment, I decided that I needed to keep an open mind and go on some official visits because of the coaching situation at A&M. I plan on visiting Missouri now and then USC and probably UCLA sometime in January."

Richardson shared his thoughts on the Tigers and why he is taking his visit and considering them.

"They are a good program. I really love how they are going to the SEC.That is big with me because I would like to play in that conference. I like their defense and coach pointed out how they have beaten A&M something like 5 out of the last 6 times they have played,"said Richardson.

With things changing regarding Texas A&M and him deciding to take visits to other schools, I asked Michael when he thought he may have a final decision regarding a school choice?

"When I know I will just know. I will feel what the right school is for me and that's where I will wind up going."

Richardson has been compared to former Texas A&M DE/LB Von Miller with his style of play and spends a lot of time in opponents backfields blowing up plays. will keep you updated on Michael Richardson visit and recruitment with the Missouri Tigers.
