Familiar Name Visiting This Weekend

The Missouri Tigers are getting ready for a second round of official visits from some top talent this coming weekend. It appears as though they will be getting an official visit from a name familiar to Mizzou recruiting fans.

Missouri's 2012 recruiting class is filling up, and there's a limited number of spots remaining.  The Tigers would like to add another corner in this class, and a former Missouri commit, CB prospect Kentrell Brice  6'1"  180  Ruston (LA) is one of several prospects scheduled to visit Missouri on December 16th.

Brice committed to Missouri in June, then decommitted in early August, citing distance from home as a major factor.

Brice confirmed to ShowMeMizzou.com that he has renewed interest in Missouri, and will be visiting this weekend.  He talked about his change of heart.

"(Distance from home) is kind of an issue, but I grew out of it,"  explained Brice, when I asked him about the distance from home.   "I'm going to have to go out on my own.  My family will always be here for me."

Playing time is an important factor for Brice, who has aspirations of playing in the NFL.  He also wants to play for a coach who can take him to that level.  Missouri's move to the SEC has played a part in Brice's renewed interest in Missouri.

"I always wanted to play in the SEC,"  explained Brice.  "I'm just trying to look for a home where I can get to the next level."

Brice said that he wants to hang out with the Missouri players, to see how he fits in with them.  And, he would like to know more about his position coach.
