On Saturday, Missouri took care of Texas Tech on the basketball court.   Amid all of the hoopla surrounding the game, and the official visit of Dorial Green-Beckham, the Tigers also hosted a basketball visitor, in 2013 SF prospect, Semi Ojeleye  6'6"  215  Ottawa (KS), who was making his second unofficial visit to Missouri.

Last June, Ojeleye had been on campus at Missouri for an unofficial visit, following which he reported having received a Missouri offer.  This time, Ojeleye brought his mother to check out the Tigers.

"The visit was good,"  said Ojeleye, following his visit.  "It was nice for my mom to get to see what it's like at Mizzou.  She liked it.  She had a good time."

Ojeyele, who plays AAU basketball for the MOKAN Spiece Elite, is the younger brother of Kansas State senior Victor Ojeleye.  He reports having offers from a number of schools, including Missouri, Wisconsin, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Butler, Stanford, Nebraska, and Kansas State.

Ojeleye said that he likes Missouri, but he isn't ready to narrow things down.

I asked Ojeleye for his thoughts about Coach Haith and his staff?

"They're great guys,"  said Ojeleye.  "Coach Haith is really about building relationships with his players and with his guys.  That's a good way to base your recruiting off of, kind of the family atmosphere at Missouri."

Ojeleye identified Missouri's "family atmosphere" as appealing.   And, he said that he's known Coach Chew for years.

Ojeleye's Ottawa squad is currently undefeated, at 13-0.  Ojeleye is averaging "about 30 and 6" according to the talented junior.

"I've seen a lot of different defenses,"  explained Ojeleye, who can shoot from everywhere on the court, and has been getting to the free throw line a lot this season.

Ojeleye, who indicated that he'll probably sign in November, said that he'd like to return to Missouri for another visit.

"I think we'll swing by again,"  explained Ojeleye.  "Missouri's one of my options."
