Campos Talks Tiger Junior Day And Offer

The Missouri Tigers extended an offer to one of the top 2013 prospects from the state of Iowa at their junior day event on Saturday, and ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with him to get his thoughts on the day and Black & Gold offer.

Missouri hosted their Junior Day on Saturday. One attendee, 2013 OT prospect Jake Campos 6'7" 245 West Des Moines (IA) Valley, came away with a Missouri offer.

Campos said that he's been communicating with Missouri Assistant Coach Josh Henson, and that he spent quite a bit of time visiting with Coach Henson on Saturday. He also visited with Head Coach Gary Pinkel, and with Assistant Coach Bruce Walker.

"It was really fun! I really like the (Missouri) coaches," said Campos.

Campos has offers from Iowa, Iowa State, and Purdue, in addition to Missouri.

Campos is a multisport athlete, who is just beginning to focus solely on football. Until last year, Campos played basketball, baseball, and soccer, in addition to football. He's a pre-qualifier who plans to major in engineering.

The Missouri staff likes his athleticism, and his footwork.,/p>

"I really liked all of the Missouri coaches," said Campos, who would like to make a decision before his senior season.

Campos said that he's planning to return to Missouri during spring ball.
