Mizzou Junior Day: Jack Kurzu

St. Louis (MO) MICDS 2013 offensive lineman Jack Kurzu will likely be one of the more traveled recruits in the state of Missouri attending junior days. We get the talented prospects thoughts on his most recent one to Mizzou.

This past Saturday's junior day event put on by the Missouri Tigers attracted most of the top prospects in the sate that were not either taking the ACT test or had previously been scheduled to attend other schools junior day events.

Another of those he did make it to Missouri on that day was St. Louis (MO) MICDS OG/OT Jack Kurzu 6'4" 290 (5.4 forty), who told us in detail what he thought about the Mizzou event.

"It was amazing," said Kurzu. "I hadn't been up there or seen the coaches since before the Independence Bowl, so it was great to see them again. I have a good relationship with them, and visiting with Coach Ford, Coach Henson, Coach Walker, and Coach Yost was great. Coach Henson and Coach Walker talked a lot with me about what they liked about me and some things I should work on. They want me to come to their camps. I think I will be at the one in St. Louis for sure. They said they should be in touch with me."

Something else that was amazing for Kurzu was seeing the Missouri Tigers basketball team take on Baylor.

"Believe it or not, that was my first college basketball game I have ever been to. Talk about a great atmosphere to be part of. It was an amazing thing to see. Especially since my Great-Grandfather played both football and basketball there at Missouri. That was special to think about. We had to leave at halftime because I had an academic event to attend, but I really enjoyed being there at Mizzou," said Kurzu.

Jack also mentioned how cool it was to see some many familiar faces and friends also at the junior day such as Brandon Minor, Ezekiel Elliott, Antar Thompson and Aarion Penton.

The next few weeks will continue to be busy for Jack Kurzu on the junior day trail.

"I will be at Florida's junior day this coming weekend, and then I will be at Auburn, Troy and Florida State's junior day events all coming up after that," he said, adding that he had already been to junior day events at Miami,Oklahoma State and Iowa along with Missouri's.

"All were great. All had different things to offer and compare to the other schools."
