Abbington Likes What He Saw Of Mizzou

2013 Ft. Zumwalt (MO) South running back, who holds a Missouri Tiger early offer, talks to about his recent unofficial visit to Columbia, and if he could see himself in Black & Gold in the future. caught up with Ft. Zumwalt (MO) South 2013 RB Chase Abbington 6'4" 210 to get his thoughts on his recent unofficial visit he made to Missouri.

"I went yesterday and it was good," said Abbington about his trip to Columbia. "I met with the coaches, saw all the facilities and spent some quality time with Coach Ford, who is my recruiting coach, and I felt like I could live there for the next 4-5 years afterwards, but I don't know yet. I'm gonna look at a couple more schools still."

Abbington, who has offers from Arkansas, UCLA, Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois besides Mizzou, said the Tigers made him feel wanted, and the thought of playing running back in the Missouri offense really appealed to him.

"Yeah, it would be awesome!" said Abbington when talking about how Missouri would use him offensively. "Me and Dorial (Green-Backham), and T.J. Moe, and the rest of the receivers and backs. It would be the sickest offense!"

Chase told me that he plans on heading back to Missouri during their spring football schedule which starts in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, he has at least one other unofficial visit planned that he will be taking.

"I will be going to Ohio State next weekend. After that, I don't know about other unofficial visits yet."

When asked if he felt that Ohio State might be close to offering him, he responded by saying," Yeah, I think so." will continue to update you about Chase Abbington's recruitment.
