Boozer chose Missouri over offers from Arizona, Baylor, and Houston, among orhers.

As a senior captain, playing for Coach Dale Keeling, Boozer amassed 146 tackles, including 6 sacks, and 2 interceptions. He was a two-time All-District First-Team selection, and as a senior, he was named First-Team DFW-All Area. His junior year, Boozer had 120 tackles, 4 sacks, and an interception.
Boozer was a three-sport standout at Everman, lettering four years in basketball, and three years in track and field. He earned Second-Team All-District honors in basketball as a junior.
Boozer plans to major in business at Missouri. His mother is Tangereki Hicks.
Missouri Assistant Coach Josh Henson was Boozer's primary recruiter.
"Torey Boozer has great change of direction, and great mobility," said Coach Henson. "He's very fast. He's tough. He's physical. We really think he can stand up and be a good linebacker. He has a great frame. He hasn't filled out yet."
"He committed right after we offered," said Coach Henson, talking about Boozer. "A lot of schools came in, and he stayed committed to Missouri."
Coach Henson indicated that Boozer's physical development in the strength and conditioning program would likely have a bearing on which LB position Boozer would eventually end up playing at Missouri.
JP's Take: Torey Boozer's speed and overall athleticism really jump out at you. He seems to know the game well and sees the plays as they are unfolding, putting himself where he needs to be to make plays. Definite playmaker, who is physical and likes to hit. He is thin and will need to get bigger, but once he does, watch out.
