"Yes sir, I do have a Missouri offer," replied Jenkins, confirming his Missouri offer. "Coach Alex Grinch informed me of the offer last week."
"I really like Missouri," said Jenkins. "I know about their high-octane offense, and how they throw the ball a lot. I know how James Franklin is a real good quarterback. And, of course they put out Jeremy Maclin and Danario Alexander. I know about Missouri. I'm interested. I like them a lot."
Jenkins said that he also knows that Dorial Green-Beckham will be playing for Missouri.
Jenkins reports offers from Clemson and Louisville, in addition to Missouri. He's visited Clemson on multiple occasions. Jenkin's brother plays for Clemson, and the younger Jenkins is very familiar with the Clemson Tigers.
"I don't really have a leader right now," said Jenkins. "I'm going to name a leader, and start narrowing my list down after spring practice, once I've accumulated all of the offers that I'm going to end up getting. I don't really have a leader right now."
Like his good friend, Tyree Harris, Jenkins is also a return man, and an outstanding run after catch guy. Jenkins reports a 41.3" vertical jump, and a 4.00 second shuttle.
‘I really want to get up there to visit Missouri," explained Jenkins. "Already from what I've heard, and what I've seen on TV, I like Missouri, and I think they're a real good program. But, I want to get up there first and see them for myself."
Jenkins talked about visiting the Missouri Tigers.
"Tyree (Harris) and I are good friends," explained Jenkins. "I'm kind of in a different situation than Tyree."
"We're planning to go up to Missouri in late spring or early summer," said Jenkins, who explained that his dad would come with him. "I'll be able to make my way up there. I can probably have Tyree ride with me."
ShowMeMizzou.com will have more on the recruitment of Jenkins and Harris, once they've had a chance to visit Missouri.
