Two For The Tigers At Spring Game

The Missouri Tigers picked up commitments from two of the remaining top 4 uncommitted players in the state of Missouri moments before the start of their spring game when Trent Hosick and Nick Ramirez committed.

The Missouri Tigers finished their spring football season with a solid performance by their offense and defense at the Black & Gold game, but they closed out spring ball with a bang by landing the #2 prospect in the state of Missouri for 2013 when Kansas City (MO) Staley QB Trent Hosick 6'2" 221 verbally committed to the Tigers.

The 4-star signal-caller is ranked the 8th best QB overall in the nation by Fox Sports Next/Scout.com.

Hosick threw for over 1,400 yards and 10 TDs while completing over 63% of his passes in a predominately running offense. He also carried the ball 249 times rushing for 2,054 yards and 31 TDs as a junior.

Hosick becomes the Tigers 7th commitment for 2013. All from the state of Missouri.

Nick Ramirez also pulled the trigger to become a Tiger.

"I decided on Easter Sunday that Missouri was the place for me. I thought about the other schools I went to and were recruiting me, and I realized Mizzou was the best. So I called Nick Ramirez an said we need to go to Mizzou an do something special and win a national Championship."<\p>
