A few days later, Moore took time to speak with ShowmeMizzou.com, and he talked about his decision.
Moore said that after he and his mother returned home over the weekend from Missouri, that he "just thought about (the decision) constantly".
"The more I thought about it, the (better) I felt about it," explained Moore. "I felt pretty comfortable on the visit, so the more I thought about it, the more comfortable I was (with choosing Missouri). As time went on, I was more comfortable with it. And, I decided to go ahead and commit to Missouri. I feel like it's the best decision for me right now."
Moore didn't have to persuade his mother, who had already decided that she wanted him to choose Missouri.
"I picked up the phone and told Coach Pinkel that I wanted to commit to the Missouri Tigers," Moore continued. "He was happy! He said that he was happy to have me be a part of the team."
Moore talked about revisiting Missouri over the summer. And, he shared his feelings about being a Missouri Tiger.
"It feels very good," said Moore. "I'm very fortunate, very blessed.………………………… I don't have any regrets."
Moore said that others schools continue to contact him.
"I'm telling them that I'm a (Missouri Tiger)," explained Moore.
