The Missouri Tigers are looking to add talented playmakers at wide receiver in this year's recruiting class. Following receipt of his Missouri offer, 2013 WR prospect Jerel Morrow 5'11" 180 Emporia (KS) took time to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his Missouri offer and updated us on his recruitment.
Morrows' primary recruiter at Missouri is Offensive Coordinator, David Yost, who stopped by Morrow's school one day last week.
Morrow is a multi-sport athlete who has long-jumped over 24 feet this spring. He reported a 37" vertical jump, a 22.27 second 200 meters, and a 43 foot triple jump. On the football field, the talented athlete plays on both sides of the football.
I asked Morrow if he's a good student? His response gives us a little bit of insight into this young man.
"Definitely. If I wasn't doing good in the classroom, my mom wouldn't let me play football," replied Morrow.
Morrow has already visited Kansas, Kansas State, and Nebraska. He indicated that he will visit Missouri after school is out.
"We'll probably visit (Missouri) during the summer," said Morrow. "I'm looking at all of the schools as the same as of right now."
Morrow indicated that he will probably make a decision during or after his senior season.
He listed academic support for the student-athlete as a major criteria in his school selection.
ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Jerel Morrow's recruitment.
