The Missouri Tigers are hard on the recruiting trail in pursuit of defensive linemen.  One 2013 defensive tackle prospect who is being recruited by Missouri is Andrew Billings  6'1"  308  Waco (TX).  Recently, Billings took time to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he updated us on his recruitment.

"I'm interested in Missouri,"  explained Billings, who has yet to receive a Missouri offer.

Billings currently reports offers from Baylor, Colorado, Minnesota, Mississippi State, North Texas, SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, Tulsa, and UTSA.

Billings explained that a Missouri offer would be met with increased interest in the Tigers.

Billings reports a 3.5 GPA, and is a member of the National Honor Society.  Following his junior season, he received Honorable Mention on the TWSA Class 4A All-State Football Team for his play on both sides of the football.  He reports a personal best of 4.8 seconds in the forty-yard dash, and a 27" vertical jump.

Billings is the 2012 Texas High School Powerlifting Champion in the Super Heavy Weight Division, where he posted a maximum bench press of 470 pounds, a squat of 700 pounds, and dead-lifted 650 pounds.

Billings has taken unofficial visits to Baylor, SMU, TCU, and Texas Tech.  He said that he doesn't really have a narrowed list of schools, or a favorite school.  He did say that a Missouri offer would look good to him.

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Andrew Billings' recruitment.
