Transfer Has Tigers Among Schools Of Interest

One of the top basketball trasnfers on the list of high profile transfers on the hardwood this spring has talked with Missouri and apparently has Missouri among his list of schools he is considering.

For the past couple of weeks, since he received his release to transfer from Arizona, there has been speculation regarding the possibility that PG Josiah Turner 6'3"  192  might land at Missouri.

Missouri has been mentioned as a school of interest for Turner, who averaged 6.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in 29 appearances in his recently completed freshman season.

ShowMeMizzou.com has verified that Turner has been talking to Missouri, as well as to his good friend, Jabari Brown.  Like Brown, Turner is a former five-star from the 2011 recruiting class.  The two of them, Brown from Oakland, and Turner from Sacramento, were teammates on the Oakland Soldiers.

According to Turner's former AAU coach, Mark Olivier of the Oakland Soldiers, Turner is trying to decide which schools he's going to visit.

"They're still trying to look at that, and get all of it sorted out,"  said Coach Olivier, speaking of Turner.  "I talked to him.  He's looking at a number of different schools."

Coach Olivier said that as far as a time-table for Turner's transfer to be completed, that he just didn't know.
