The Missouri Tigers received an unofficial visit on Friday from one of the fast rising football prospects in the 2014 recruiting class, who is being mentioned among the best at his position in the country. He spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com about how it went.

On Friday, Missouri hosted a talented unofficial visitor in 2014 WR prospect Dominique Booth  6'1"  195  Indianapolis (IN) Pike.  After he returned home, Booth took time to visit with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his visit, and he updated us on his recruitment.

Booth confirmed that he has a Missouri offer, and he talked about a connection that he has with the Tigers.

"My dad and Coach Ford have been friends for a long time,"  explained Booth.  "So, he already knew about me.  And, I already liked Missouri football.   And then they went to the SEC.  So, that kind of boosts them a little bit more, because the SEC is the premier conference."

Booth reports offers from Michigan State, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Iowa , and Iowa State, in addition to Missouri.  He's on his way to a good many more offers.

"My Missouri visit went well," explained Booth.  "I really liked it there!"

"Missouri just opened a sports medicine degree program, which is what I want to do in college,"  continued Booth.  "That's a big plus also.  I didn't know they even had that program.  It was good timing."

Booth said that after his tour of campus and the facilities, he got to visit with Coach Pinkel.  He said that Coach Pinkel's interest in his players as people and in preparing them for life after football is appealing to him.

Booth also visited with receivers' coach Andy Hill.  He said that he likes the stability of Missouri's coaching staff, and that Missouri's offense appeals to him.

Booth didn't want to name a list of favorites, but he did have good things to say about Missouri.

"I really liked it there,"  said Booth.  "Missouri is one of my favorite schools, so far.  I want to see how they're going to do in the SEC this year.  But, I really like it there."

The sophomore indicated that he's not in any particular hurry to make a decision
