Future Tiger Update: Tony Criswell

ShowMeMizzou.com continues to bring you updates on 2012 football and basketball signees as their final semesters wind down before they head to Columbia and become Tigers. Here is the latest update from basketball signee Tony Criswell.

As the spring semester winds down, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with PF Tony Criswell  6'9"  237  Independence (KS) C.C., and he updated us on his current status.

Criswell told me that he will have his Associate's Degree completed in time to enroll at Missouri in June.

"Everything's going good,"    said Criswell.   "I'm just finishing up a few things here the last couple of weeks of school, so I can report to Missouri in June…………………………………………Classes start June 4th."

Criswell talked about his expectations on the basketball floor.  He said that replacing Ricardo Ratliffe and his 70% field-goal percentage, are "big shoes to fill".

"I'll try.  I mean, I'll do my best,"  said Criswell.   "I'll do a lot of the same things as (Ratliffe), as far as rebounding and playing hard.  But, I'm really looking to come in and do whatever Coach Haith wants me to do.   We have pretty much all of the pieces that we need.   So, whatever they need me to come in and do, I'll do.  Talking to Coach Fuller, they like my versatility, and they kind of compared my game to Terrence Jones' game.  So, I think they'll use me a little bit of inside and out."

Criswell agreed that this year's Tigers should be able to be a pretty good defensive team
