The Missouri Tigers have been making the rounds during the evaluation period, and ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with a 2013 CB prospect, Chocolate Wilson  5'10"  170  4.49  Myrtle Beach (SC), who has drawn the attention of the Missouri staff.

Wilson indicated that Missouri Assistant Coach Dave Steckel came by to watch him during a recent spring practice.

Wilson reports having received a Missouri offer, in addition to offers from North Carolina State, Purdue, and Mississippi.

"When I first heard about the Missouri offer, I was excited,"  said Wilson, who talked about having watched Jeremy Maclin play at Missouri.

Wilson is planning to visit Missouri, and other schools, this summer.  He indicated that he has targeted the month of June as a time when he may be able to take those visits.  He also indicated that distance from home will not be a factor in his decision.

"I don't know too much about Missouri,"  said Wilson.  "But, I know they're coming to the SEC.   I'm excited about that!"

Wilson would like to make a decision around the beginning of his senior year.  He cited his relationship with the coach, and the quality of the education, as likely major factors in his upcoming decision.  Wilson said that he wants to study criminal justice in college.

ShowMeMizzou.com will have more on Wilson later.
