The Missouri Tigers have been out on the recruiting trail, and they continue to search out defensive linemen. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2013 DT prospect Tevin Montgomery 6'4" 300 4.85 Marion (MA) Tabor Academy, and he talked about mutual interest between he and the Tigers.
"Coach Kuligowski stopped by my school last week," explained Montgomery. "He seems like a really good guy."
Montgomery, who is from northern Texas, just started playing football last year, after years of playing basketball. He said he's heard good things about Missouri.
"Getting a Missouri offer is really exciting," explained Montgomery. "It broadens my options. It's a school that is in the SEC, and a school that is on the rise."
Montgomery indicated that he's looking forward to learning more about Missouri, and he's planning to visit Missouri sometime soon.
Montgomery is planning to take a series of visits as soon as school is out. He said that he's going to attend camps at UConn and Boston College.
"Right now, my main focus is where am I going to get the best education," said Montgomery. "By the end of the summer, I'd like to have a top five list of schools."
Montgomery indicated that it may be near the end of the season when he reaches a final decision on a school.
