ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with another member of Missouri's incoming freshmen class, in C/PF Ryan Rosburg   6'10"  245  Chesterfield (MO) Marquette, who recently graduated from high school, and will be on the Missouri campus in less than a week.

"I'm really excited,"  explained Rosburg, talking about getting started at Missouri.  "I'm really looking forward to it.   I'm excited just to be with the team."

Rosburg will begin taking classes next week, and he will be rooming with another freshman big man, in walk-on C Eric Moeller  6'10"   200  St. Louis (MO) DeSmet.   He's looking forward to getting to know his new teammates.

"I'm real excited to get everything rolling,"   continued Rosburg,  "just building chemistry within the team, with so many new guys."

During his senior season at Marquette, Rosburg averaged about 20 points and nearly 12 rebounds per game, while shooting nearly 60% from the field and about 70% from the free throw line.

I asked Rosburg how he sees his role on this year's edition of the Missouri Tigers?

"It's kind of hard to tell right now,"  replied Rosburg.  "But I just hope that I can do whatever I can do to help the team, whether it's rebounding, playing defense, or scoring inside.  I'm just willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win."

Rosburg feels that he can play either of center or power forward for the Tigers.  It seems like Rosburg is kind of a blue-collar guy."

"That's kind of what I'm known for,"  explained Rosburg.   "That's kind of my reputation, is from doing the dirty work, getting rebounds, and doing the little things that really help the team win."

He talked about Missouri's upcoming trip to Europe, which he feels will be a good opportunity for the team to get to know each other and to build team chemistry.

"I'm very excited about going to Europe,"  said Rosburg.   "I've never been to Europe.  So, I'm very excited about that!"
