Hobbs Getting Closer

The Missouri Tigers received an unofficial visit from top 2013 quarterback target Damion Hobbs over the weekend. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with him to get his thoughts on the trip, and to find out when things might click with a commitment.

The Missouri Tigers are looking for a second QB to add to their 2013 recruiting class, and the field has narrowed as to who their attention is on.

Cedar Hill (TX ) 2013 QB Damion Hobbs 6'3" 210 has held a Tiger offer for a couple of months now and was in Columbia on Friday for an unofficial visit.

ShowMeMizzou.com caught up with him following it to get his thoughts.

"It went good," said Hobbs. "The atmosphere, the way people and the players love Mizzou football really stood out to me. I really liked that along with the coaches. Missouri's offense, along with Nebraska and Arkansas State, all feature things we do at my high school with our offense. So, there wouldn't be a huge transition for me."

Could Hobbs see himself as being a Tiger?

"Yeah, I can, but I can also see myself at the other schools I have visited. I am getting close (to making a decision) and I think I am still going back to Arkansas State for a second look, but I don't have a timeframe as to when a final decision will come."

Hobbs has already visited Arkansas State and Nebraska, the other two finalists for his services.
