Anderson told ShowMeMizzou.com that Missouri has offered him a scholarship. He also reports offers from Southern Mississippi, Texas A&M, Troy, UAB, and Vanderbilt, in addition to Missouri. Anderson said that he is also being recruited by Alabama and Auburn, among others.
"My coach told me that Missouri has offered me," said Anderson, who went on to explain that Missouri was at his school during the spring to see him practice. "I'm looking forward to talking to the Missouri coaches."
Anderson reports a personal best of 4.99 in the forty-yard dash, to go along with a 4.6 second shuttle time, a 25" vertical jump, and a personal best in the bench press of 310 pounds.
Anderson said that he's visited Alabama and Vanderbilt, and that he's also been to Troy on multiple occasions. He'd like to visit Missouri and Texas A&M soon, but he doesn't have any visits scheduled at present.
"I've heard good things about Missouri," explained Anderson, who went on to name several of his favorite schools, which included Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Missouri, Ohio State, Oregon, and Texas A&M. "I need to see what it's like at Missouri."
Anderson indicated that he would like to make a decision "sometime this fall".
