Tennessee Defensive Lineman On Tigers' Radar

The Missouri Tigers have developed a reputation for developing some quality defensive linemen over past few years, so it is no surprise they they are diligently searching for a few more to help round out the 2013 class.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2013 defensive line prospect Demaris Peppers  6'3"  250  Memphis (TN) Fairley.   Missouri has shown interest in Peppers, and he has interest in the Tigers.

Peppers reports having received offers from Arkansas State, Houston, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, and Minnesota.   He said that a Missouri offer may be on the way.

"Missouri wants to see more film from my senior year,"  explained Peppers.

Peppers reports a 4.9-second forty, and a 28" vertical jump.  His maximum in the bench is 325 pounds, and his maximum in the squat is 450 pounds.  Peppers also throws the shot and the discus for Fairley's track team.  He's academically qualified, and he is on track to graduate in May.

Peppers has already visited Minnesota.  He said that he doesn't know much about Missouri, but he has seen the Tigers play, and he likes how Missouri plays.

He said that he may take an unofficial visit to Missouri to see a game this fall, but he doesn't have a date scheduled.

ShowMeMizzou.com will have more on this defensive lineman later.
