Loud And Clear To Missouri?

Houston (TX) defensive end prospect Marcus Loud was one of two players to commit to the University of Missouri over the weekend. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke to Loud to get the details of his commitment and understand where it is at.

One 2013 prospect who took his official visit to Missouri last week was DE Marcus Loud  6’4”  240   Houston (TX) Wheatley.  Loud had given Missouri a verbal commitment in May before switching his commitment to Colorado in September.  After the Buffaloes fired Jon Embree last month, Loud decided to finally visit Missouri.    He came in on Thursday, and by the time he left, he had returned to the fold.   ShowMeMizzou.com spoke to Loud following his return home.

“(My Missouri visit) went well,”   said Loud, speaking of his first visit to Missouri.  “It was really nice!”   “We toured the campus, and I got to talk with some of the professors,”  explained Loud.

Loud said he was comfortable with the Missouri coaching staff.

“It was all good,”  said Loud, referring to the vibe he experienced when meeting with the Missouri coaching staff.

He talked about his decision to choose Missouri.

“It was like basically everything that I thought it would be,”  explained Loud.  “That’s why I chose Missouri.”

I asked Loud if he’s finished taking official visits?

“No,”  replied Loud.  “I’m still taking my (official visit) to Arizona (on January 11th).   I’ve got one more.”

Loud said that the Arizona visit “will be it” as far as additional visits.

Despite his intention to visit Arizona, Loud said that he’s solidly committed to Missouri.

“You can say that I’m 100% Missouri,”  said Loud.

ShowMeMizzou.com will have more on Loud later.
