Gill Ready To Get There Now

Francis Howell 2013 offensive tackle Harneet Gill is a valuable commitment for the Missouri Tigers as his position is one of need for the football team. He talks about his recent official visit and how he is eager to get going.

2013 St. Charles (MO) Francis Howell OT Harneet Gill 6'7" 260 committed to the Missouri Tigers shortly after a junior day visit back in March of this year.

The super athletic offensive linemen showed his abilities at a few combines putting up incredible numbers including a 34" vertical jump at one. Unfortunately, he suffered a foot injury which kept him from playing his senior season in which his team had historic success on the field on it's way to playing in it's first state championship in football.

Over the course of the football season, and despite not playing, multiple offers continued to come in for Gill. However, the early Tiger commit did not waver, and took his official visit to Missouri this past weekend.

Gill filled me in on how it went.

"It was great I think I put on about 10 pounds," laughed Gill when asked about the trip."I mean I'm down at Mizzou pretty often so it wasn't anything new ya know. Anthony Gatti was my host and what stood out was how close the team is with each other. I'm ready to be there now."

I asked Harneet if was able to get to know or bond with any other recruits while on the visit?

"I spoke to Josh Augusta and Maliek Collins a lot and got to know them. I think there is a good chance Maliek comes to Mizzou. Hopefully, both he and Josh do."

From here on out Harneet Gill waits to sign on signing day and prepares to arrive at Missouri in June of 2013.
