Georgia Safety Hearing From Missouri

The Missouri Tigers appear to be looking to add a safety to this class and are looking at a talented prospect from the state of Georgia late in the process

As the 2013 recruiting cycle is winding down, the Missouri Tigers have been busy on the recruiting trail.   One prospect who is drawing attention from Mizzou is 2013 safety prospect Ryan Carter  5'10"  175  Loganville (GA) Grayson.   Carter spoke to, and he gave us an update.

Carter holds offers from Mississippi and ECU.  He said that he's also hearing from Indiana, Tennessee, and Clemson, in addition to Missouri.

Carter is visiting Clemson this weekend (1-25-13).  He said that he expects the ACC school to offer.

He's also already visited Mississippi.

Missouri assistant coach Alex Grinch stopped by Grayson High on Thursday to see Carter.  I asked Carter how that went?

"(Coach Grinch) came by my school, and we talked,"   said Carter.   "He told me they like my film and (they like) how physical I play.  They are recruiting me at safety."

"I don't know too much about Missouri,"   explained Carter.   "I know that Missouri is in the SEC.  I know it's a good school."

Carter indicated that he may visit Missouri next weekend (2-01-13).
