Is Georgia Prospect Close To A Decision?

The Missouri Tigers have been hitting the recruiting trail hard in the state of Georgia for 2014. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with an Peach State prospect who picked up a Mizzou offer and is considering his options, including the Tigers.

The Missouri Tigers have extended a scholarship offer to 2014 defensive back prospect Cameron Glenn 6’2” 185 Stone Mountain (GA) Stephenson. Recently, Glenn spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about the Missouri offer, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“My high school coach sent me a text saying that (Missouri Assistant) Coach Alex Grinch had offered me,” said Glenn. “I was kind of surprised. I mean, Missouri’s a nice school.”

Glenn said that he is looking forward to learning more about Missouri.

“I like the SEC,” said Glenn. “That weighs heavily.”

Glenn said that he currently has offers from Connecticut and Indiana, in addition to Missouri. He said that he’s also receiving interest from Georgia Tech and Louisville, among others.

Glenn reports personal bests of 4.5 in the forty, a 32”standing vertical, and a 10’8” broad jump.

Glenn said that he’d like to visit Missouri, but doesn’t have any plans to do so at present. He was planning to take an unofficial visit with some of his friends to Tennessee.

He also said that he’d like to make a decision before his senior season.

UPDATE: ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Glenn on Monday evening and he informed us that he is wanting to commit to the Missouri Tigers,but has yet to inform the Missouri coaches. However, he told his high school recruiting coach that he wanted to play at Missouri. He also put on his social media that he had committed to Mizzou. We will watch this situation closely to see how it develops.

UPDATE 2: Glenn told ShowMeMizzou.com the following morning that he plans on waiting until he visits Missouri before making a commitment.
