Basketball Prospects Visiting Mizzou Saturday

Not just junior day football visitors will be on hand has the scoop on a pair of basketball visitors that will be in Columbia and at the Tigers SEC match up against LSU. Come check out the story inside. has learned that a pair of visitors from Memphis will be in attendance at the Missouri – LSU game on Saturday. Norton Hurd, Head Coach of Memphis-based AAU Team Thad confirmed that two of his players, 2014 PF Marcanvis Hymon 6'7" 200 Memphis (TN) Whitehaven, and 2014 PG Chris Chiozza 5'11" 155 Memphis (TN) White Station are visiting Missouri this weekend.

“Chris Chiozza and Marcanvis Hymon will be visiting, and will be at the Missouri-LSU game on Saturday,” said Coach Hurd. “They’re definitely (serious) about Missouri!”

Both of these players have visited Missouri before, so this is their second visit to Missouri.

“I know that Missouri is in both of their top three, when I talk to them,” explained Coach Hurd, who went on to list Missouri, Memphis, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, and UMass as Hymon’s top schools.

Then, he went on to say that Chiozza has a top list of Missouri, VCU, Richmond, Arkansas, and UMass.

Coach Hurd compared Hyman to a young Serge Ibaka, currently of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He described Chiozza as a young Phil Pressey. will have more on these two prospects later.
