"Yes sir, it's true. I committed,"said Jones when asked about his visit and rumors that he had pledged to Missouri, the school his father, Brian Jones, is currently on the football staff as the running backs coach.

Grant had said to me when we spoke following his offer that the chances of him winding up as a Tiger were pretty good.

“I know the whole coaching staff and they are more like a family. They are all good people and good coaches. I know some of the players and the are good character people. I like the family atmosphere and how they are all like family. I have basically been a Mizzou fan since I was five. There is a good chance that I will probably end up committing to them."

Springfield Hillcrest WR Darnell Green-Beckham 6'4" 175 also committed to the Tigers according to his older brother Dorial Green-Beckham and his father and coach John Beckham while on his junior day visit.

The younger Green-Beckham was diagnosed with Leukemia following his freshman year and has battled back from the illness.
