Cheadle Chats About Mizzou Jr. Day

Lee's Summit West has produced a good amount of D1 prospects over the years, and another one was at Missouri's junior day on Saturday. He talks about his visit and shares his thoughts on the Tiger program.

One of the many attendees of the Missouri Tigers. Junior Day event was Lee's Summit (MO) West cornerback Logan Cheadle 5'10" 172 4.4 forty, 37.6 vertical jump. spoke with Logan following the event.

"It was alright. Fun visit, but no offer today,"said Cheadle." Got there around 11 and just mingled and talked to the coaches for a long time. Eventually we made our way down to the athletic cafeteria where we ate and listen to the coaches talk about the program. And after we broke off into position meetings I went with Coach Ford and the corners. And from there we went to the basketball game vs LSU. And after that I left."

Cheadle went hoping that a Missouri offer might be extended, and has been working hard in the off season to help that happen. He said that the coach recruiting him had said that the Tigers would like to see him at 170lbs and that he arrived on campus at 172lbs with work in the weight room.

Despite not picking up an offer, Cheadle remained upbeat about Mizzou.

"I like it a lot. I know quite a few players, like the coaches, and it's close to home. Coach Hill made it seem like if I got to 170 that I would get an offer, but I don't know. We'll see what happens," Cheadle said.

Schools such as Kansas State and Kansas among others are also recruiting Logan Cheadle.
