Swain Takes In Missouri Spring Practice

Stand out 2014 Missouri linebacker Jimmie Swain attended the Missouri Tigers second spring practice on Thursday afternoon in Columbia. He spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com following it to share his thoughts on the day.

2014 LB prospect Jimmie Swain 6’3” 210 made a visit to Missouri today to check out the Tigers second spring practice of 2014. Swain was fresh off an unofficial visit to Kansas State where he picked up an offer from the Wildcats.

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with him following his trip to Mizzou.

“It went well. It was nice to see them in a practice situation. It looked like they were really getting after it, “said Swain. “I got the chance to sit in on a defensive meeting and a tour of the athletic facilities, and got a chance to talk with Coach Hill, Coach Stec and Coach Pinkel. They were all very nice and laid back. I also got the chance to hang out and talk with Logan Cheadle and Ryan Williams. I know both of them. They are cool guys. There was also a linebacker from Texas who was there. It was all good.”

Swain also had nice things to say about his K-State trip.

“I was very pleased to get an offer from them. Obviously, it’s a good offer and they have been pretty dominant in the Big 12 as of late. Coach Snyder is a real laid back guy and seems to really care about his program and players. Plus, he seems to care very strongly about academics,” he said.

I asked Swain if he was able to compare the two schools since he saw them back to back like he did.

“They’re both really nice. I would be happy to play at either school,” said Swain. Up next for Jimmie Swain is an unofficial visit to TCU next weekend.

“They saw my film and like it. They offered about a week or so. I will go down there and see what they are about, “said Swain.
