Big Lineman Closing In On Missouri Offer?

The Missouri Tigers are in full recruiting mode for the class of 2014 and appear to be addressing both sides of the offensive and defensive lines as an important need for that class. has learned that the Missouri Tigers are recruiting 2014 OT Paul Adams 6’6” 270 Nashville (TN) Presbyterian. Adams talked about his Missouri interest, and his recruitment.

Adams has been speaking with Missouri Assistant Coach Pat Washington. He expects to receive a Missouri offer soon, which may occur when he takes an unofficial visit to Missouri for the Tigers’ Spring Game.

“I really hope so,” said Adams, referring to a potential Missouri offer.

Adams is a multi-sport athlete who plays basketball and is also a member of his school’s track team. He plays left tackle for Presbyterian, and he reports a 5.1-second forty, and a 25” standing vertical jump. His maximum in the bench press is 275 pounds.

Adams currently holds an offer from Cincinnati, and he’s being recruited by hometown Vanderbilt, among others, in addition to Missouri.

Adams said that the Missouri offer is the one that he really wants.

“It’d be my first SEC offer,” explained Adams. “I’ve always had Missouri on the map. I’ve always been very interested in Missouri football. There’s always been like a place in my heart for Missouri.”
