2015 DL Standout Enjoyed Missouri Visit

The third in a trio of talented prospect from East St. Louis (IL) talks to ShowMeMizzou.com about his unofficial visit he took to the University of Missouri on Thursday and his recruitment.

The third member of the East St. Louis (IL) Flyers football team to make the trip to the University of Missouri on Thursday was class of 2015 DE/DT Terry Beckner 6'4" 270 4.7forty time.

The talented sophomore had an outstanding season in 2012 recording 77 tackles and 5 sacks while being a constant source of pressure on opponents and being strong in the trenches against the run.

ShowMeMizzou, com spoke to Beckner following his unofficial visit to get his take on the day.

"I liked it. It was a lot of fun," said Beckner when asked how his day at Mizzou went. "They have offered me, and it was good to see things and watch practice. I got to be in the defensive line meeting and I enjoyed talking to the coaches and especially Coach Pinkel. It's a cool school."

Beckner, who will be one of the top defensive line prospects in the Midwest for 2015, and possibly the top prospect in the St. Louis Metro area, is not in a hurry to focus on recruiting.

" I have offers from Mizzou, Illinois and Kansas, but I have a long time to think things over before I would make a decision."

For now his focus will be continuing to get better  over the summer and try and  help his team toward winning a state championship in 2013.

"It's good to see schools and I liked Mizzou, but I have this season which comes first," he said.

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow his high school career and recruitment over the next two years
