Recent Visitor Picks up Missouri Offer

The Missouri Tigers have had some prospects coming in to take unofficial visits and watch practice during spring football 2013. One of their recent visitors did a story on alerts us to his Tiger offer.

Missouri has offered 2014 WR prospect Thomas Richard 6’1” 185 Nashville (TN) Christ Presbyterian Academy.

Thomas informed that he spoke with Missouri Assistant Coach Pat Washington earlier this evening, and that Coach Washington offered him a “full-ride scholarship to Missouri”.

“Coach Washington told me that he wants me to play at Missouri,” said Richard.

Missouri is Richard’s first scholarship offer.

“Coach Washington told me to remember that Mizzou was my first offer,” said Richard. “Missouri’s definitely high on my list right now. I mean, they just offered me. I went up there, and it was great! The coaches are great!”

Richard has only played one season of football. Before that, Richard was a basketball player. During his junior season, Richard had 55 receptions for 1072 yards (19.5 yards/reception) and 13 TDs.

Richard is returning to visit Missouri on Saturday for the Tigers’ Spring Game.

He’s planning to make a decision prior to his senior season.
