Recent Offer Makes It Back For B&G Game

One of the Missouri Tigers recent offers made a return trip soon after to check out the annual spring Black & Gold game and spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com about his day here and how it mind change his recruitment.

Among the many unofficial visitors who were in attendance for Missouri’s Spring Game was 2014 WR prospect Thomas Richard  6’1”  185   Nashville (TN) Christ Presbyterian Academy.   For Thomas, who recently received a Missouri offer, it was his second visit to Missouri this month.   Afterwards, he spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his most recent visit to Missouri, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“I like Missouri even better the second time around because I got to see them play live,”   said Richard.    “I love the way they played!   They threw the ball a lot.”

Richard said that he and his CPA teammate, Paul Adams, got to spend some time in the Faurot Field locker room with Missouri commit Darnell Green-Beckham.

Richard talked about where he is with his recruitment.   For now, he’s sticking with his timetable for a late-summer decision. 

“I mean, I’m liking Missouri a lot,”   said Richard.    “I just want to see who else is interested, to see who’s serious in my recruitment.”

“Since Missouri’s offered, I’ve talked to Vanderbilt and Tennessee,”  explained Richard.   “But neither of them have offered.”

“Everything (at Missouri) was good,”   said Richard.    “I liked the stadium with fans in it.   It was good seeing the stadium with fans in there.”

Richard said that he sees himself as an outside receiver in the Missouri offense.   He also said that if he were to commit to Missouri, that he would then try to recruit other players.
