On Saturday, 2014 OT prospect Blake Hance 6’6” 265 Jacksonville (IL) took his third unofficial visit to Missouri this spring. Afterwards, he spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about the visit, as well as the current status of his recruitment.

“I had a really great time,” said Hance, talking about his visit to Missouri for the Tigers’ Spring Game. “I really enjoyed it. I liked the atmosphere, you know, a little taste of the game day atmosphere. So, it was good.”

Hance got to spend time talking with the Missouri coaching staff.

“I got the chance to talk to a lot of the coaches before the game,” continued Hance. “I sat down with Coach Pinkel for a few minutes before the game, and then I was able to talk to them all a little bit before I left.”

“It was great! I mean, I really like the coaches,” said Hance. “I like their passion. They seem like they’re where they really want to be.”

Hance went on to talk about his conversation with Coach Pinkel.

“It went really well,” said Hance. “He just really stressed that they want me, and that they really like me. He just made sure that we got a chance to sit down and talk before the game. It went really well.”

“I definitely like it (at Missouri),” said Hance, who named Missouri as one of his top schools. “I love it there………………………………… I like the way that they’re playing. I like what I’m seeing.”

Hance currently holds offers from Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina State, Northern Illinois, Vanderbilt, Western Michigan, and Wyoming, in addition to Missouri.

I asked Hance to identify his timetable for a decision?

“I wouldn’t say that I have a timetable,” explained Hance. “Definitely, probably sometime early summer. It could be really anytime now, just whenever I think I’ve figured it out.”

Hance said that he’s planning to visit Vanderbilt in May. And, he’s planning to return for a fourth unofficial visit to Missouri later this spring.
