Missouri Is At The Top Of Lineman's List

One of the Missouri Tigers offensive line targets for the class of 2014 updates ShowMeMizzou.com about his recruitment and where Mizzou stands at the moment with him. Could he be close to making a decision to play in the SEC?

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2014 OT prospect Paul Adams 6’6” 270 Nashville (TN) CPA, who holds a Missouri offer, and who visited Missouri for the second time this month for the Tigers’ Spring Game. Adams talked about his second Missouri visit, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“(My Missouri visit) was great! It was huge! I mean, I want to say it was better than the first (one),” said Adams. “But I mean, it just matched it just as well. My mom came with me this time, so she got to look around and we talked to all of the coaches and build a relationship with them. I feel like I got to know the coaches really well. I feel like it was a little better than the first (visit), just because my mom got to experience it. That’s a big thing because she wants me to feel comfortable in a place, and she said that I looked happy. And, she said that she felt welcomed into the Missouri community.”

Adams currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Mississippi State, and Missouri. He and his mom have visited Tennessee and Vanderbilt, but neither school has offered him at this time.

Adams talked about his current recruiting status.

“Thomas (Richard) and I have always said that we wanted to play together (in college),” explained Adams. “I really, really, really like Missouri. I’m going to sit down and talk to my coach, and see what my future may hold, and see what could happen in the near future.”

Adams said that he will “definitely” make a decision before his senior year. He also said that a decision could come sooner rather than later.

“I feel very comfortable (at Missouri),” said Adams, who went on to say that Missouri is currently his top choice.
