The Missouri Tigers have extended their search for a 2014 quarterback. ShowMeMizzou.com has learned that Missouri is recruiting 2014 QB prospect Kilton Anderson 6’3” 205 Sammamish (WA) Skyline. Anderson’s father, Eric Anderson, took time to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he updated us on his son’s recruitment.
“Kilton’s been hearing from Missouri,” said Eric Anderson.
The Anderson family is in the process of moving from Naples (FL) to Washington. At Naples, Kilton Anderson led his team well into the state play-offs in each of the last two seasons. He’s a true dual-threat QB, who currently holds an offer from South Alabama, but he is being evaluated by a number of BCS schools, including Missouri.
Anderson is planning to attend camp at Missouri, in addition to a number of other schools. Missouri Offensive Coordinator, Josh Henson, is the primary recruiter for Anderson, and he and the Missouri staff want to get a close-up look at the talented QB prospect.
“We’re trying to get (Kilton) into camps,” explained Eric Anderson. “He’s been invited to the Missouri camp. We’re going to try to make that.”
Eric Anderson reported that his son is also a basketball and baseball player who has been timed at 4.56 seconds in the 40-yard dash, and 4.1 seconds in the 5-10-5 shuttle, in addition to posting a 35” standing vertical jump and a 10’2” standing broad jump.
“He’s definitely interested in Missouri,” said Eric Anderson, speaking about his son, Kilton.
Kilton is scheduled to compete at the Elite 11 Regional QB competition this month in San Francisco.
