Athletic Quarterback On Missouri's Radar has the scoop on a talented dual threat Quarterback who is on the Missouri Tigers radar, and could be close to picking up an offer from the SEC school. We get his thoughts on Mizzou and where his recruitment stands.

Earlier this week, 2014 dual threat QB prospect Marvin Zanders 6’2” 183 Jacksonville (FL) Raines took time to speak with, and he talked about his recruitment and his interest in Missouri.

Zanders confirmed that Missouri has been recruiting him. He said that Missouri Assistant Coach Josh Henson will be at Raines before the end of the evaluation period, and that he believes a Missouri offer is on the way.

“Missouri likes my film,” explained Zanders. “They want to watch me throw in person.”

Zanders reports offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kentucky, Navy, Ohio, Wake Forest, Western Kentucky, and Western Michigan He’s planning to camp at Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Oregon, Rutgers, and Wake Forest.

Zanders reported a personal best in the forty-yard dash of 4.43 seconds, and a 4.2-second 5-10-5 shuttle.

Zanders is a dual-threat QB who completed over 60% of his passes a year ago. With his speed and quickness, he’s also a big part of Raines’ running game.

Raines said that he’s been speaking with Coach Henson since last year. And, he likes Missouri a lot.

“I really like Missouri’s offense,” explained Zanders. “If they offer me, I might end up committing on the spot.”
