Another JUCO Cornerback On Mizzou's Radar

With two of their top cornerbacks set to graduate following the 2013 season, the position has become one that the Missouri Tigers football staff is targeting heavily for the 2014 recruiting class. We introduce you to a JUCO on their radar.

ShowMeMizzou.com has confirmed that the Missouri Tigers are recruiting 2014 CB prospect Darius White 6’0” 180 Grenada (MS) Itawamba Community College.

Recently, White spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his interest in Missouri, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“Missouri has been talking to my junior college coach,” explained White. “My coach says that Missouri is recruiting me, and that they want me to graduate in December.”

White indicated that he is on pace to graduate in December, and that he will have three years to play two. White said that a number of schools have come through and are recruiting him. He said that he wasn’t sure which ones have offered. He expects his recruitment to accelerate as December approaches.

“I really don’t know too much about Missouri,” said White. “I know that they’re in the SEC. I’d love to get down there for a visit.”

White reports a 4.4 forty time, and 8 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press. He said that he could play either corner or safety in college.

White said that he doesn’t have any favorites. He just wants an opportunity to play big-time football.
