New Missouri Offer Hoping For Summer Visit

The Missouri Tigers latest defensive line offer spoke with about his most recent BCS offer, and his plans to make a summer unofficial visit to Mizzou to find out more about the SEC program.

Recently, the Missouri Tigers extended a scholarship offer to 2014 DE prospect Terry Ramsey  6’5”  232  Clayton (OH) Northmont.   Ramsey took time to speak with, and he talked about the Missouri offer, as well as the current status of his recruitment.

“Missouri offered me a couple of days ago,”    said Ramsey, who received word of his Missouri offer from defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski.   “He’s a pretty cool guy.”

“I think Missouri is a real good opportunity,”   said Ramsey.    “I want to go there for a visit, and see it.”

Ramsey said that he’d like to visit Missouri this summer, although he’s “not sure” when that will take place.    

Ramsey reports offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Toledo, and West Virginia, in addition to Missouri.

He recently attended a camp at Ohio State.  I asked him if Ohio State is going to offer?

“Maybe,”  replied Ramsey.  “Maybe not.”

At 6’5” tall, the multi-sport athlete possesses a 7’0” wingspan.   He plays basketball and runs track for Northmont.   He reported a 54 second split as part of the 4x400 relay team.   He also throws the discus and the hammer.    He reported personal bests of 4.74 seconds in the forty-yard dash, a 31” vertical jump, and 7 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press.

Ramsey said that at present, he has an open mind toward everyone.   He wants to visit the schools that have offered him this summer.
