The Missouri Tigers are in the market for a second tight end for their 2014 recruiting class. However, they are also looking ahead to 2015 and one of the prospects at that position that is on their radar who they looking at camped with them last month.
ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with St. Louis (MO) Vianney 2o15 TE Kyle Markway 6'5" 235 4.8 forty following his camping with the Tigers to get an update on where his recruitment with them is at.
"I really enjoyed camp again," said Markway. "I camped with them last year and this year, and the coaches, including Coach Henson, showed a lot of personal attention to me. They said they really like my hands and my athleticism. Following camp they said they wanted to wait and see 3 games this season then see what happens regarding a possible offer."
He spoke about his interest in the Tigers and other schools.
"I really like Missouri. It's the home school, close to home, and a good program. I really like the coaches,too. I would say that them, Iowa, Notre Dame and Tennessee are standing out right now and showing the most interest," he said.
The junior-to-be recorded 18 receptions 225 yards and two TDs for 12.5 yards per catch, and in 6 games on defense, had 4 sacks and 40 tackles, plus on special teams, 3 kick returns 34 yards per return and a touchdown.
Kyle Markway is also a very physical and aggressive blocker as a TE. He has the ability to play both attached to the offensive line or spread out as more of a receiver. He also shows great promise as a potential defensive end on the next level.
