Missouri Offer Changes Plans For Athlete

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with the latest football prospect to receive offer from the Missouri Tigers recently, and found out that it has changed things already with his plans and recruitment going forward. Come inside and get the details.

ShowMeMizou.com has confirmed with 2014 WR prospect Christian Blake 6’2” 170 Fort Lauderdale (FL) Cardinal Gibbons that Missouri has recently offered him a scholarship. Blake talked about his Missouri offer, and he updated us on his recruitment.

Blake reports offers from Appalachian State, Bowling Green, Indiana, Massachusetts, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Syracuse, Toledo, Utah State, and Western Kentucky, in addition to Missouri. Missouri is currently his only SEC offer.

“That’s very important,” said Blake, referring to the chance to play football in the SEC.

Blake also handles returns for Cardinal Gibbons. He’s been timed at 4.43 seconds in the forty-yard dash, with a 38” vertical jump. His maximum in the bench press is 225 pounds. He just turned 17 years old in June, and he was recently informed by his physician that he may grow as much as another 2 inches.

Blake said that he’s speaking with Missouri Assistant Coach Pat Washington.

Blake has upcoming unofficial visits to Northern Illinois and Syracuse. He will visit Missouri, although he’s not sure when that will occur.

He was ready to choose a school from between NIU and Syracuse, but the Missouri offer has changed his timeline. Now, he’s not sure when he’ll be making a decision.
