Mizzou Blows Past Racers 58-14 In Opener

The Missouri Tigers opened their 2013 football season with a pounding of Murray State as the Tiger offense exploded behind QB James Franklin's 3 TD passes, and the running of Henry Josey and Russell Hansbrough to win 58-14.

The Missouri Tigers came out a little slow in their season opener against Murray State, but after the first quarter the Tigers turned it on offensively and defensively to take command of the game on their way to a 58-14 thrashing of the Racers

Senior QB James Franklin threw for over 300 yards and 3 TDs, while rushing for 51 more yards in leading the offense. Running backs Henry Josey and Russell Hansbrough had 115 and 104 yards and combined for 3 TDs rushing.
