Sanders got his senior season off to a good start with 4 TDs and 2 tackles in the Tucker Tigers 51-12 season-opening win at Cedar Grove.
Sanders plays receiver and defensive back, and he also handles returns. He reports a personal best of 4.49 seconds in the forty-yard dash, and a maximum in the bench press of 275 pounds.
Sanders holds offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Iowa State, and Old Dominion, in addition to Missouri. Tennessee is showing heavy interest, and may be close to offering.
Sanders named a top three of Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee, in that order. He said that a Tennessee offer would elevate the Vols in his eyes. Arkansas and Tennessee are both recruiting Sanders as a corner, his preferred position. Missouri is recruiting Sanders as a safety prospect.
Sanders is planning to visit Missouri this fall, along with official visits to Tennessee and Arkansas, before he makes a decision.
“I want to get up there (to Missouri) for a game, or at least for a weekend,” explained Sanders. “I really want to take all my visits.”
