Mizzou Knocks Vandy Off It's Feet, 51-28

The Missouri Tigers won their SEC conference opener on the road in Nashville in a dominant fashion behind James Franklin and the Tigers 523 yards of total offense and 51 points to start the year 5-0.

Another impressive offensive performance from the Missouri Tigers offense helped them improve to 5-0 for the fifth time under Gary Pinkel with a 52-28 win over Vanderbilt on the road and to open SEC conference play.

Mizzou QB James Franklin's 278 yards passing and 4 TDs helped lead an offense that rang up 523 yards of total offense, and the Tigers defense recorded 7 sacks on the night, with senior DE Michael Sam recording 3 on the night, and junior DE Kony Ealy recording 2 of the seven overall.
