The Missouri Tigers, ranked 5th in the nation according to the AP poll, and #5 in the BCS standings, will have a nice group of visitors on campus as they face off against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday.
Three official visitors will be in for the Tigers 102nd homecoming weekend ShowMeMizzou.com has learned.
O'Fallon (IL) DE Dewayne Hendrix 6'5' 260 informed ShowMeMizzou.com that he will be on his official visit to Mizzou this weekend along with Ft. Pierce (FL) Central DE/LB Sharieff Rhaheed 6'3' 210, and Orlando (FL) ATH Kwadarrius Smith 5'9" 170.
Hendrix has listed the Tigers among his top schools he would be taking official visits to along with Florida, Tennessee, USC for awhile now. He has already visited Tennessee. He has not yet decided on a possible 5th official visit.
Rhaheed told ShowMeMizzou.com that a commitment could be possible if he loved his visit.
Kwadarrius Smith does not have an offer yet. He has said coaches are still evaluating him and that an offer could come following his visit.
Multiple unofficial visitors will be at the homecoming game this weekend as well.
Most notably among the unofficial visitors not committed yet is St. Louis (MO) Vianney RB Markel Smith 5'11" 210. Smith, who was committed to Missouri at one time, continues to list the Tigers among his top schools along with Ole Miss, Iowa and Nebraska will be on an unofficial visit. He has rushed for over 1,900 yards and 30 TDs so far during his senior season.
Another St. Louis standout will be on an unofficial visit to the Zou as SLUH WR/CB Raymond Wingo 5'11" 174 will be making the trip for the game. Wingo has suffered an ankle injury which has kept him out of a few games recently, but he will returning to action tonight. The Tigers have been recruiting Wingo harder as of late. He recently picked up an offer from Auburn, and is also considering Arkansas, Nebraska and others.
2015 offers QB Drew Lock from Lee's Summit, RB Ryan Williams from Lee's Summit West, Helias TE Hale Hentges,Carlos Davis and Kahlil Davis from Blue Springs and Rock Bridge WR Alex Ofodile will also be attending.
