After his official visit to Missouri over the weekend, 2014 LB/DE prospect Sharieff Rhaheed 6’3” 207 Fort Pierce (FL) Central spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his Missouri visit, and he updated us on the current status of his recruitment.
“(My Missouri visit) was good,” said Rhaheed. “I toured the campus, hung out with players, and talked to the coaches.”
Rhaheed spent time talking with his primary recruiters in Missouri Head Coach Gary Pinkel, and Assistant Coach Craig Kuligowski. He also said that he hung out with freshman safety Shaun Rupert.
He said that the coaches let him know that they really want him at Missouri.
“I like it (that they really want me),” explained Rhaheed. “I liked everything (about Missouri).”
Rhaheed is a former LSU commit who has been offered by a host of schools, including Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Louisville, LSU, Marshall, Massachusetts, Memphis, Michigan State, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Penn State, Rutgers, Tennessee, UCF, USC, and USF, in addition to Missouri.
He’s already visited Arkansas, and he has official visits planned to Louisville and Tennessee. He’s planning to make a decision in December or January. Rhaheed said that “Missouri went up” in his eyes following his Missouri visit. And, he named Missouri among his top three, along with Louisville and Arkansas.
